Picnic Facilities

The Red Fez Shrine Club Shelter Rental Area is spread over several acres on the bank of beautiful Lake Wylie. It is ideal for company picnics, club and neighborhood gatherings, family celebrations, and reunions.

It is located at the end of Red Fez Club to the left of the main Clubhouse. It consists of a covered shelter , Two Horseshoe Pits, a Basketball Court , Sandy Beach Swimming Area. Boat Docks located to the right of the Clubhouse are included.

The covered shelter is open on three sides and is complete with overhead florescent lights, electrical outlets, and overhead fans. The open area is 44 feet wide by 68 feet long with a concrete floor. There are 20 - 8 foot by 3 foot wooden tables with side benches located under the shelter roof. The tables will comfortably seat 160 to 200 people. Additional tables and chairs are available. A food bar and a beverage bar are located at one end of the shelter. The shelter has a storage area that contains a refrigerator and freezer. Lessee shall provide their own barbecue grills, but are not permitted to use them under the roof. Men and women restrooms are located nearby.

The open area around the Shelter is large enough for amusement rides and fun equipment. Two horseshoe pits with horseshoes are located next to the shelter. A concrete basketball court complete with two basketball backboards is located next to the beach area.

The Sandy Beach Swimming Area is marked and protected by posts and has a floating platform. Lessee must provide suitable swimming supervision. A set of Boat Docks with ten boat slips is available for those guests who wish to bring their water craft. The lake area is perfect for speed boats, pontoon boats, and jet skis.
